What Are REC Specialists
Specialists are members who have been vetted by REC Staff and display a high level of competency in their craft. These members are professional, reliable, and are expected to uphold REC’s Core Values.
Apply to become a REC Specialist to be recommended to members who request certified professionals when booking their sessions. Determine your own rates and keep 100% of the profit.
About The Process
Applications are reviewed and contacted on a rolling basis, and applicants can expect to hear back 2-3 weeks after submitting. Submit your best, most recent examples of your work below to be considered.

HOW TO BOOK A SPECIALIST
To book a Specialist, must first book your desired Studio:
- Log on to app.recphilly.com
- Navigate to the ‘Book A Studio” Section
- Select a studio from the drop down list and click “Next”
- Select a date and time that works for you and hit “Next”
- When prompted if you would like REC to email you about hiring a Specialist, select “yes”
- Select what type of specialist you need and add any additional notes
- Add any guests or visitors to your session
- Click “Complete Booking”
Congrats! Your studio booking is now confirmed. The next step is to confirm the availability of a Specialist.
- Check your email for a booking confirmation email
- Click on the link provided in the email to be taken to a list of all the approved Specialists we recommend
- Browse their work and contact those you would like to work with. Include your project idea, the date and time of your session, and ask what their rates are.
Specialist rates change depending on who you book. REC takes no profit in the business between you & the Specialist. Every Specialist sets their own prices, so be sure to ask what they charge for your project.
Once a Specialist from the list gets back to you and confirms their attendance to your session, you have successfully booked a Specialist for your session! Be sure to be timely, courteous, and respectful. Stay creative!
Tips:
- Book at least a week in advance to ensure you give enough time for the specialists to review their schedule.
- Send your Specialist an email or text the day before your session to remind them & re-confirm they have everything they need from you to ensure a great collaboration
- You can browse the list of Specialists & coordinate with them ahead of booking studio times in the future for optimal flexibility.
POLICIES
- REC is not responsible for the attendance of a Specialist. It is your responsibility to communicate & coordinate with your desired Specialist.
- Payment to the Specialist is solely between you and the other party. REC takes no profit. Please ask the Specialist for their rates & availability.
- Do not share any information in the Specialist List without the written consent of the Specialist & of REC. Sharing private info without consent can lead to membership termination.
If none of the Specialist recommendations are available for the session, you may reschedule your session to best align with the availability of the Specialist.
